Grand County, Colorado has some of the most scenic wedding venues in the United States. Grand County includes Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby, Grand Lake, Kremmling and Hot Sulphur Springs. I have put together some of my favorite locations below.

Headwaters Center - Winter Park, CO

The Headwaters Center is a beautiful barn built with reclaimed timber from the Civil War era. This venue has two ceremony areas to choose from and the capacity to seat up to 240 guests for dinner. Because of its rustic woodwork this venue works with many color schemes. It is also amongst the most affordable options within the county. I highly recommend this venue for couples that want a quintessential Rocky Mountain location.

Devil’s Thumb Ranch - Fraser, CO

Devil’s Thumb offers luxury accommodations, views and service. Regarded as one of the premier wedding venues in the country, this is the location for an all-inclusive experience for you and your guests. The property has an on-site spa, horseback rides, hiking trails, yoga sessions and more. I love this option for those couples that want to evoke the old west ambiance within their wedding weekend.

Granby Ranch - Granby, CO

With sweeping views of the valley, Granby Ranch’s ceremony location is unmatched. If you are looking to catch those striking yellow aspen colors, be sure to book this venue in the month of September. You have the opportunity to host your guests for dinner in the Slope Side Great Room, Base Lawn Tent or the 8350 Lounge.

YMCA - Snow Mountain Ranch - Fraser, CO

Many couples’ main focus is bringing their friends and family together. Snow Mountain Ranch has the ability to lodge your entire wedding party in various accommodations on the Ranch. They have cabins, hotel-style lodges, yurts, and RV/Tent sites. They also have several locations for your ceremony and reception. I recommend this location for couples that are looking for a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Grand Lake Lodge - Grand Lake, CO

Being one of the largest venues in Grand Lake, this property gives couples the option to host a bigger group while enjoying the picturesque views of the lake. Located within 5 minutes of the marina, I suggest taking your guests on a lovely boat ride around the lake as a pre-wedding activity. Also be sure to take advantage of the proximity of this venue to Rocky Mountain National Park!

Winter Park Resort - Winter Park, CO

If you love apres vibes, this is the venue for you. Only open for weddings from June - October, the Resort is will be an exclusive experience for your guests. They now have two locations on the mountain available for weddings - Sunspot and Lunch Rock.
